‘No I.D. On The Track Let The Story Begin…’ Mixed by Rob Pursey & Superix

I could quite easily fill this blog with all the mixes from Southern Hospitality. This one I’ve been listening to all week and had to be shared here. Superix and Rob run through a load of classic No I.D. productions, old to new. You can’t go wrong with this. Seriously.

Jay-Z mixtape double bill: DNA of the Blueprint & DOJ – When Jay-Z Was Good

As Jay-Z has recently just played at Hyde Park, London a few days ago I thought now would be a good time to point people in the direction of these two excellent Jay-Z mixtapes. First we have The DNA of The Blueprint from the Fifth Platoon’s All Out King, DJ Neil Armstrong, who is also Jay-Z’s tour DJ. This focuses on Jigga’s Blueprint albums. Also, if you’re not familiar with any of Neil’s other tapes, get familiar!

Secondly we have DJ Ayres from NYC’s The Rub (who had their 8th Anniversary party last weekend) with a best of focusing on S. Carter’s back catalogue pre-retirement.
