Every Saturday you can catch myself alongside Adam Mas, Scott Thompson and Peacey at a thing we call All That Good Stuff at Derby’s Pitcher & Piano. We play a whole bunch of disco, boogie, funk, soul, house and hip hop – like the name says all that good stuff. If you’re in the area it’s obviously the place to be.

Here is a special guest mix by our friend Randy Hotthobo Ellis, we hope you enjoy it. He used to run a night here in San Francisco called Grow Up. The name was a tongue in cheek poke at Blow Up, a dance party for barely post pubescent kids who wear neon. Grow Up was an adult party for well mannered boogie fiends. Randy also co-owns Voltare Records, a label specializing in new tunes in the electro, boogie, and kraut vein; check it out.

DJ Hudson live at TBL Feb 2010: Disco, funk and boogie mix

Here’s the first two parts of the last session at The Bottom Line, a disco/funk/boogie night that is now on hiatus. There’s a few jumps and what not during the mix which is due to having a Bilal from House Party situation – if someone was dancing to near to the right turntable it jumped. I’ve been having a few Bilal from House Party situations recently. I had to tell a woman with a bad 80s poodle perm to stop bumping and grinding so close to me as she kept bumping the table.
